How do yo perform an Inner Chest Press?

  • Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet on the floor.
  • Hold a weight in each hand and bring your hands together above your chest.
  • Keep your elbows close to your body.
  • Push the weights up vertically while keeping your elbows close to your body.
  • Bring your arms back down until the weights touch your chest.
  • Keep the elbows as close to your body as possible.
  • Keep your back straight and your abs tight.
  • Inhale as you lower your arms and exhale as you raise them back up.

Common faults

  • Not keeping your lower back straight.
  • Elbows go out too far.
  • You don’t extend the arms completely.
  • Lowering the weight too quickly.
  • Not keeping the handles at the same height.
