How do you perform Push Up To Down Dog?
- Start in a pushup position with your hands slightly in front of your shoulders and your feet hip-width apart.
- Lower yourself into a pushup while bending your elbows and lowering your body to the floor.
- Explosively push up as you raise your hips and press your chest down toward your heels.
- Extend your arms into a Down Dog position.
- Inhale as you go down and exhale as you come up.
- Keep your core engaged throughout the movement and keep your elbows close to your body.
Common faults
- Insufficiently straight back during the push up.
- Insufficient core tension.
- Incorrect hand placement.
- Not fully extending the arms in the Down Dog.
- Improper breathing technique.
