How do you perform Squat Hold?

  • Place your feet about shoulder-width apart, with your toes pointing slightly outward.
  • Stand up straight, tighten your abs and glutes, and look straight ahead.
  • Bend your knees until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
  • Pretend to sit on an imaginary chair.
  • Keep your back as vertical as possible.
  • Stretch your arms out in front of you. The higher the arms, the more vertical your torso will be.
  • Hold this position for as long as necessary.
