How do you perform Chest Fly?

  • Lie on a flat bench or the floor and hold a weight in each hand.
  • Hold your arms straight above your chest with your palms facing each other.
  • Bend your elbows slightly and lower the weights to the sides.
  • Keep your shoulders on the bench or the floor.
  • Extend your elbows again and return to the starting position.
  • Repeat the movement for the desired reps.

Common faults

  • Uncontrolled movement.
  • Not lowering the weights low enough.
  • Range of motion too large when performed on a bench.
  • Do not lift weights above the chest.
