  • Support yourself in a plank position with both hands on a weight.
  • Spread your feet for good stability.
  • For this exercise, dumbbells are best but not a must.
  • Make sure your shoulders are vertically above the weights.
  • Tighten your abdominal and back muscles and extend your right arm forward.
  • You only support yourself on your left arm.
  • Return your right arm to the ground and switch sides.
