How do you perform Standing Crossover Toe Touch?

  • Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart.
  • Keep your arms straight and horizontal to the sides.
  • Bend forward and come into a partial squat.
  • Bring your left hand to your right foot and try to touch your toes.
  • Return to the starting position and repeat the movement on the other side.
  • Make sure your back stays straight and your abdominal muscles tense.

Common faults

  • Back not straight.
  • Hand doesn’t reach low enough. Try tapping your toes.
  • Hips not fully extended in standing position.
  • Unstable posture.
  • Not enough stretch in hamstring.
