How do you perform Triceps Bench Dip?

  • Stand with your back to a bench or chair and place your hands on the bench or chair.
  • Step forward until your knees are slightly bent and your arms are straight.
  • Bend your elbows and slowly lower your body as you flex your triceps.
  • Push yourself up until your arms are straight again.
  • Keep your abs tight and your back straight.
  • Inhale as you go down and exhale as you come up.

Common faults

  • Poor alignment of the shoulders and elbows.
  • Excessive load on the shoulders.
  • Breathing not controlled.
  • Insufficient trunk stabilization during execution.
