How do you perform Broad Jump?

  • Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Bend your knees and lower your body while keeping your back straight.
  • Use your leg power to jump forward as far as you can.
  • Guide the jump by swinging your arms from back to front.
  • Absorb the shock on landing by bending your knees.
  • Land on your full foot.

Common faults

  • Poor coordination or balance.
  • Do not take off or land with the full foot.
  • Don’t bend your knees when taking off and landing.
