How to perform Leg Raises in 8 Pattern ?

  • Lie on your back with your hands beside your body.
  • Straighten your legs and raise them about 45°.
  • Make a figure eight movement with your legs.
  • It’s like having a piece of chalk between your feet and having to draw a number 8 on an imaginary wall.
  • Keep your abs tight and your lower back flat on the floor throughout the exercise.
  • You can make the exercise a little easier by placing your hands under your buttocks.

Common faults

  • Not keeping your lower back against the floor during the movement.
  • No extension of your legs all the way.
  • No control over the movement.
  • Pace too fast or too slow.
  • Raising legs too high or not high enough.
  • No nice 8 pattern with your feet.
