How do you perform Seated Leg Raise Over Object?

  • Sit on the floor with your hands on the floor next to you for support.
  • Place an object (for example, a bag or box) on the floor in front of you.
  • Extend your legs in front of you and place your feet next to the object.
  • Lift your legs straight up and bring them over the object.
  • Lower your legs until they almost touch the floor.
  • Lift your legs back up and bring them to the other side of the object.
  • Keep your abs tight and your back straight and as vertical as possible.
  • Inhale as you raise your legs and exhale as you lower them.

Common faults

  • Not good trunk stabilization.
  • Feet don’t stay together.
  • Insufficient core tension.
  • The legs do not stay straight.
  • Feet touch the ground.
