How do you perform Seated Thruster?

  • Sit upright on a bench or chair with a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height.
  • Stand up from the chair while pushing the dumbbells up.
  • Return to the chair as you lower the dumbbells.
  • Repeat the movement without sitting down between reps.
  • Keep your abs tight and your back straight.
  • Inhale as you go down and exhale as you come up.
  • Repeat for the desired number of reps.

Common faults

  • Using too heavy weight without good technique.
  • Insufficient trunk stabilization during execution.
  • Arms and hips not fully extended on upward movement.
