How do you perform Side Plank Toe Touch?

  • Get into a high side plank position, leaning on your hand.
  • If it is too difficult, you can also lean on your forearm.
  • Keep your top hand up for better balance.
  • Support yourself on the inside of the foot of your top leg.
  • Lift your bottom leg and bring your top hand to your toes.
  • Your legs stay straight.
  • Return your arm and leg to the side plank position and repeat.
  • Keep your hips up and your abs tight.
  • Inhale as you bring the arm and leg together and exhale as you return to the side plank position.

Common faults

  • Poor coordination between arm and leg movements.
  • Insufficient control of movement.
  • Insufficient stabilization of the trunk during execution.
