How do you perform Single Arm Overhead Lunge?

  • Place your feet hip-width apart.
  • Hold a dumbbell above your head with one hand and one arm straight.
  • Step forward with the other leg while contracting your abs.
  • Bend both knees at 90° to get into a lunge position.
  • Bring your front leg back to return to the starting position.
  • Keep your abs tight and your back straight.
  • Inhale as you go down and exhale as you come up.

Common faults

  • Insufficient balance.
  • Insufficient weight control.
  • Arm not straightened and vertical.
  • Knees not bent at 90°.
