  • Stand up straight with one leg slightly forward.
  • Hold a weight in one hand.
  • Bend forward while keeping your back straight and raise the back leg.
  • Lower the weight down your leg as low as possible.
  • Hold on for a moment.
  • Stretch back up as you tighten your glutes.
  • Keep your abs tight and your back straight.
  • Inhale as you bend over and exhale as you come back up.

Common faults

  • Round back during execution.
  • Insufficient trunk stabilization during execution.
  • Excessive pressure on the lower back. Bend your knee slightly.
  • Holding weight too far from body.
