How do you perform Squat Jacks?
- Start in a standing position with your feet together.
- Explosively lower and spread your feet out to the sides as you land in a squat position.
- At the same time, bring your hands forward for better balance.
- Immediately jump back up and bring your feet back together as you straighten your legs and clap your hands together over your head.
- Repeat the movement for several reps, making a smooth and controlled squat-jump motion and keeping your core engaged.
Common faults
- Bad squat technique.
- Insufficient jump height.
- Incorrect timing of the movement.
- Lack of coordination between squat and jump.
- Insufficient contraction of the gluteal muscles during the jump.
