- Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart.
- Lower into a squat.
- Come back up and lift your right leg to the side.
- Return to the squat position and repeat the movement.
- Make sure your back stays straight and your abdominal muscles tense.

- Side leg lift not high enough.
- Knees past toes in the squat.
