How do you perform Standing Triceps Extension?

  • Stand up straight with a weight in each hand and your arms bent so that the weight hangs behind your head.
  • Stretch your arms up as you raise the weights.
    Hold on.
  • Slowly lower the weights to the starting position while tightening your abs.
  • Keep your abs tight and your back straight.
  • Inhale as the weight goes down and exhale as the weight goes up.
  • This exercise can also be performed with one arm and one weight.

  • Poor back alignment.
  • Breathing not controlled.
  • Insufficient trunk stabilization during execution.
