How do you perform Superman?

  • Lie on your stomach with your arms straight out in front and your legs straight back.
  • Raise your arms and legs while tensing your back muscles. Hold on.
  • Slowly lower your arms and legs as you tighten your abs.
  • Repeat for the desired number of reps.
  • Inhale as you go up and exhale as you go down.

Common faults

  • Not good muscle tone in the back.
  • Poor back alignment.
  • Breathing not controlled.
  • Arms and legs do not rise simultaneously.
  • Too much tension in the neck.
