How do you perform Jumping Lunges With A Twist?
- Start in a lunge position with your right foot in front and your left foot behind.
- Both knees are at a 90 degree angle.
- Hold an object (a weight) with both hands and twist your upper body to the right.
- Jump up and switch legs in the air, rotating your upper body to the left as you land.
- Jump back up and switch legs and rotate your upper body back to the right.
Common faults
- Front knee extends past the toes.
- Unstable landing.
- Poor coordination and twist technique.
- Upper body too far forward.
- Not jumping vertically.
