How do you perform Leg Raises?

  • Lie on the floor with your hands under your buttocks and your legs extended just above the floor.
  • Raise your legs until they are perpendicular.
  • Keep your lower back in contact with the floor.
  • Hold for a second and slowly lower your legs.
  • Ensure smooth, controlled movement.
  • Inhale on the downward movement and exhale on the upward movement.

Common faults

  • Not keeping your lower back against the floor during the movement.
  • Legs not fully stretched.
  • No control over the movement.
  • Pace too fast or too slow.
