How do you perform Plank To Down Dog And Knee Tap?
- Start in a high plank position with your hands under your shoulders and your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart.
- Push your hips up and back.
- Straighten your arms as you drop your head between your arms.
- Push your chest toward your feet so that your shoulders open properly.
- Tap the knee of the opposite leg with one hand.
- Hold for a moment and come back to the high plank position.
- Repeat the movement and switch sides.
- Breathe in and out as you make the movement.
- Keep your core tight and your back straight during the movement.
- Push your heels into the floor to stretch your hamstrings.
Common faults
- Not keeping your back straight.
- Hands placed too far forward or too far apart.
- Legs not straightened.
- Arms not straightened.
- Not letting your head fall between your shoulders.
