  • Start in a standing position with your feet shoulder width apart.
  • Keep your hands at your sides.
  • Quickly lower yourself into a squat position.
  • Jump explosively and land upright with your feet together.
  • Inhale on the way down and exhale on the way up.
  • Quickly lower yourself into a squat position while spreading your legs.
  • Make sure the knees stay in line with your feet throughout the movement and that you land with soft knees.
  • Repeat the movement for several repetitions.

Common faults

  • Getting up too quickly without correct posture.
  • Not being quite straight on the squat.
  • A collapse of the body during the squat.
  • Bad position of the feet.
  • Too little depth in the squat.
