How do you perform Spot Jump?

  • Start in a standing position with your feet hip-width apart.
  • Jump up by pushing off with the front of your foot.
  • Keep your arms down.
  • Land softly on the balls of your feet and immediately spring back up into the next jump.
  • Keep jumping up in the same spot repeatedly.
  • Keep your abs tense at all times.

Common faults

  • Improper landing technique.
  • Knees tucked in.
  • Insufficient jump height.
  • Lack of coordination and control.
  • Too much impact on the joints during landings.
