How do you perform Squat To Standing Crunch?

  • Place your feet about shoulder-width apart, with your toes pointing slightly outward.
  • Stand up straight with your hands behind your neck and elbows out to the side.
  • Tighten your abs and glutes and look straight ahead.
  • Bend your knees until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
  • Pretend to sit in an imaginary chair. This is a squat.
  • Keep your back as vertical as possible.
  • Push back up and raise one knee.
    Bring your opposite elbow to the knee.
  • You can always perform the exercise on the same side or switch sides depending on the instruction.

Common faults

  • Too much leaning forward posture.
  • Not a full squat when lowering.
  • Elbow not tapping knee in the upright position.
  • Bad coordination.
