How do you perform Step Up And Press?

  • Stand in front of a raised platform with a weight in your hand.
  • You can perform this exercise with one or two weights.
  • Place one foot on the platform.
  • Push yourself up as you bring the other foot up and raise the weight above your head.
  • Hold for a moment and come back to the starting position.
  • Repeat with the other leg.
  • Keep your abs tight and your back straight.
  • Inhale as you go down and exhale as you go up.

Common faults

  • Insufficient weight control when performing.
  • The weight does not end above the head.
  • Excessive load on the knees.
  • Breathing not controlled.
  • Insufficient trunk stabilization during execution.
