How do you perform Jumps And Floor Touch?
- Start in a standing position with your feet hip-width apart.
- Make three short and fast jumps in a row.
- Immediately after the third jump, bend your knees and explosively lower as you tap the floor next to your feet with both hands.
- Land softly on the balls of your feet and immediately spring back up into the next jump.
- Repeat the movement for several reps, making smooth and controlled jumps and touching the floor with light touches.
- To make it fun you can make a quarter turn after every three jumps, once to the left and once to the right.
Common faults
- Bad landing technique.
- Knees dropping in.
- Too much impact on the joints.
- Arched back.
