How do you perform Supine March?

  • Lie on your back on the floor.
  • Keep your arms on the floor and your hands palms down.
  • Straighten your legs and lift them slightly.
  • Keep your feet straight.
  • Bend one knee and bring your leg towards your chest.
  • The other leg remains extended just above the ground.
  • Slowly lower the bent leg down while keeping your other leg straight above the floor.
  • Try to push your lower back into the floor during the exercise.
  • Repeat with the other leg to perform a marching motion.

Common faults

  • Insufficient contraction of abdominal muscles and lower back.
  • The extended leg taps the ground.
  • Wrong coordination.
