How to perform a Dead Bug?
- Lie on your back and raise your legs, bending them at an angle of 90 degrees.
- Push your lower back into the floor.
- Raise your arms and stretch them toward the ceiling.
- Lower your right arm and left leg while keeping your right leg and left arm straight.
- Return your right arm and left leg to the starting position, then lower your left arm and right leg.
- Keep your lower back on the floor and your abs engaged.
- The feet and hands just barely touch the ground.
Common faults
- Uncontrolled movements of arms and legs.
- No full range of motion.
- Lower back lifts off the floor when performing.
- Not good trunk stabilization during execution.
- Feet tap the ground.
