- Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
- Place a weight on your lower abdomen and hold it.
- Push your hips up and tense your buttocks.
- Hold this position for a moment and then lower your hips.
- Inhale as you push your hips up and exhale as you lower them.
- Focus on tensing your buttocks.
- Keep your back straight and your abs tense.

- Not full hip extension at the end of the movement.
- Insufficient stability in the shoulders and trunk.
- Insufficient tension of the gluteal muscles.
- Tension in the neck and shoulders.
- Too much weight so your hips don’t get high enough.
