How do you perform Glute Bridge Chest Press?
- Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
- Hold a weight in each hand at chest height.
- Push your hips up and tighten your buttocks.
- Hold this position and push the weights up vertically.
- Then lower the weights and repeat without lowering the hips.
- Inhale as you lower the weights and exhale as you push them up.
- Focus on tightening your buttocks.
- Keep your back straight and your abs tight.
- Only when all reps are done do you lower the hips.
Common faults
- Not full hip extension.
- Insufficient stability in the shoulders and trunk.
- Insufficient contraction of the gluteal muscles.
- Tension in the neck and shoulders.
- Do not push weights vertically.
