How do you perform a Ground To Overhead?
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a weight in each hand.
- Slowly bend your knees and tap the weight on the floor.
- Then raise the weight above your head with your arms straight.
- Return the weight to the floor.
- Keep your back straight and your abs tight.
- Inhale as you lift the weight and exhale as you lower it.
Common faults
- Incorrect posture at the beginning of the movement.
- Insufficient stability in the shoulders and trunk.
- Poor alignment of the knees.
- Make a rounded back when going down.
- No straight back or an overstretched back in the upward position.
