How do you perform Leg Raise Candlestick?
- Lie flat on the floor with your legs straight.
- Place your hands on the floor slightly away from your body.
- Bend your knees first and bring them toward your hips.
- Once your legs are across your torso, use your abdominal and core muscles to lift your legs straight up.
- Try to fully extend your hips and raise your feet as high as possible with your legs straight.
- Keep your arms flat on the floor for support.
- Bring your knees back to your torso and then back to the starting position without them touching the floor.
Common faults
- Your hips don’t come off the floor.
- Your feet don’t get high enough.
- Your legs are not outstretched in the start and end position.
- Your feet tap the floor between reps.
