How do you perform Push Up With Dumbbell Tap?
- Place an object (e.g. dumbbell) on the floor at arm’s length in front of you.
- Start in a pushup position with your hands under your shoulders and your feet hip-width apart.
- Lower yourself into a pushup while bending your elbows and lowering your body to the floor.
- Tighten your abdominal and back muscles and straighten your arms.
- If you are in a high pumping position, tap the object at the top with one hand.
- Lower yourself to the starting position and start again with your other hand.
- Make sure to keep your core engaged throughout the movement and keep your elbows close to your body.

- Excessive pressure on the neck and shoulders.
- Incorrect hand placement.
- Insufficient depth in the push up.
- Back and hips do not stay in line.
- Insufficient balance.
- Excessive speed of movement.
